Some Friday Inspiration: Everybody’s Free To Wear Sunscreen.
I'm sure you'll remember 'that sunscreen song' the late 90's by Film Director Baz Luhrman*. You know, that one everyone was crazy about to start with but then was so overplayed they decided they'd be quite happy never listening to it again. Well, that's how I felt anyway!
It's funny how over time and with fresh eyes, things can take on a new meaning and make you feel very differently.
A client sent this my way (thanks Simone!) and this time around, there was a new appreciation for the words. Perhaps that's the result of over ten years passing by in a flash and a more pronounced awareness of the fragility of life (gosh that sounds very profound doesn't it!?) For me, it's that fragility, that magic, that specialness, that go- out- and -really- live -life- at- full- juicy -volume this video captures so beautifully.
In light of my post a couple of weeks on how to overcome worry I particularly love the playful wisdom in:
"Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing gum"
I'd love to know what you think..what part particularly resonated with you?
Do share and spread the love ♥
